A ten-day pop-up village · Oct 31–Nov 9, 2026 · São Paulo, Brasil

A laboratory
for what comes next.

Ten days, one village, in the Mantiqueira mountains between São Paulo and Rio. Fifty to sixty of us — testing new coordination protocols, local & regenerative economics, web3 — and yes, real breakthroughs in spirituality too.

01The experiments

Five experiments, one village.

Not a conference agenda — a live test bench. Everything below gets tried in the open, for a month, by whoever shows up.

⌘ 01 / COORDINATION

New coordination protocols

How do 50–100 people actually govern a month together? We test consent-based decisions, live sociocracy, reputation — whatever coordination really holds at this scale.

¤ 02 / LOCAL ECONOMICS

Money, redesigned locally

Time-banking, mutual credit, a village currency pegged to real contribution — tested alongside the R$ economy, not against it.

♻ 03 / REGEN AT SCALE

Regenerative economics at scale

Quadratic funding and hypercerts aren't theory here — they're how the village's own commons pool gets allocated, in the open.

Ξ 04 / WEB3

Actually vibe-coding

Public goods tooling, on-chain coordination, hackathons that ship — building the stack this whole culture keeps talking about.

✺ 05 / SPIRITUALITY

Breakthroughs in spirituality

Circles, ceremony, breathwork, silence. The inner work regen culture usually skips — because none of this holds without it.

02The lineage

This land has been a laboratory since 2021 — permaculture, bioconstruction, a small community learning to live differently. Now we're widening the circle: builders, regens and misfits gathering to prototype coordination, economics, web3 and spirituality — together, in the open, for a season.

🫂

True accessibility

Localized, sliding-scale pricing and a commons pool that funds scholarships. Cost is decided by what you can give, not what a market will bear.

🌾

Regenerative action

We don't just occupy a space. We spend into the local economy, restore what we touch, and leave the village measurably better than we found it.

🔥

Emergence over agenda

No over-scheduled corporate panels. Unconference style: deep work, open-source building, and fireside conversation. Minimal formalities, maximum freedom.

03Field notes

The essentials, in the open.

What
An ephemeral regenerative village — it exists for one month, then disappears, leaving only what it regenerated. Regen-tech vibes for builders, ecological regenerators and public-goods advocates. Live, work and cook together.
Where
Rocinha, Guaratinguetá — hosted at EcoviLab, an ecovillage laboratory in the foothills of the Serra da Mantiqueira, on the scenic road toward Cunha & Paraty. Deep in nature, on the SP–RJ axis.
When
Ten days, Oct 31 – Nov 9, 2026 — long enough to build real village life, short enough to actually pull off. The seed for a permanent Regen Village to follow.
Who
50–60 devs, creators, and Greenpill / Gitcoin regens — from Brazil and the world. Technically fluent, mission-driven, here to build.

Not a rendering

EcoviLab already exists. We're just turning up the volume.

Since 2021, a small community has been living permaculture and bioconstruction on this land — camping, communal kitchen, gardens, ceremony, ordinary life. These are their own photos. The pop-up doesn't invent a village; it adds fifty more builders to a fire that's already lit.

The rollout

One pop-up. Then the permanent village.

Ten days proves the format works — before we build something that lasts.

Phase 1 · This pop-up

Oct 31 – Nov 9, 2026

50–60 people

Vila Semente: ten days at EcoviLab and the Rocinha mountain property. We test the rhythm, the coordination, the economics — in the open.

Phase 2 · Permanent village

Beyond 2026

Dates TBD

If Vila Semente proves the format, we build toward a standing Regen Village on this land — governance, funding and community, tested here first.

04The decentralized campus

We don't rent one big venue. We turn a whole neighbourhood into a campus.

Instead of a monolithic conference hotel, Rocinha becomes a distributed village: one shared commons, a constellation of nearby beds, and a field of tents. That's how we kill the corporate price tag.

01🏡

EcoviLab

The existing ecovillage laboratory

The beating heart: a real intentional community since 2021 — communal kitchen, gardens, hammocks, and a dedicated coworking space with reliable power and Starlink. Already running. Now hosting more of us.

02🛖

The Satellites

Pousadas & chalés nearby

Surrounding Airbnbs, guesthouses and farm rooms within walking distance — pre-mapped by us, booked directly by you. No middle-man margin.

03

The Campgrounds

30 tent spots on the lawn

The ultra-low-cost tier. Pitch a tent beside the commons and live close to the land — for builders with all the time and none of the budget.

05Choose your adventure

Two costs, split honestly.

An access ticket— sold on Artizen, with scholarship discounts from the commons pool — funds the shared commons: Starlink, power, coffee, local staff, and a dedicated coworking space. It rises with comfort: cheapest for a tent on the lawn, more for a shared bed, most for a private room. One price per tier for the whole 10-day window — stay 7 days or all 10, it's the same ticket.

The math, in the open

"We'll publish the real budget. No spin, no hiding — just honest numbers for a village built from scratch."

1An access ticket, sold on Artizen — R$500 camping, R$650 shared room, R$800 private, boosted by quadratic matching — → the shared commons pool.
2Accommodation paid directly to local hosts.
3Camping subsidized by community shifts + the pool funds scholarships.
4Real reference point: EcoviLab's own volunteers already cover food, power, water & cleaning for roughly R$25–50/day. That's the order of magnitude we're building from — not a guess.
06A day in the village

Mist in the morning. Code by midday. Fire at night.

Morning
Mist & movement

Fog rolling off the Mantiqueira. Cold plunge, a slow coffee, yoga on the grass before the laptops open.

Midday
Deep work

The barn fills with builders and Starlink hums. Heads-down shipping, then a long shared lunch of local produce.

Afternoon
Unconference

Self-organized sessions, pairing, a hack sprint — or a trail up toward Cunha when the mind needs the woods.

Evening
Fireside

Cooking together, music, a fire against the mountain cold, and the kind of conversation that becomes a project by morning.

Fireside circle at night at EcoviLab
07Leave it better

50–60 people buying from local producers, hiring local cooks, and restoring the land turns a pop-up into a public good for the region — not a tech-colony that flies in and out.

🌍

Into the local economy

Spend flows to Rocinha's producers, cooks and hosts — not to an outside operator's margin.

📖

Open-source outputs

What we build in the village — tools, guides, learnings — ships back to the commons for anyone to fork.

🌱

Scholarship spots

The commons pool funds places for builders who'd otherwise be priced out. Merit and energy over money.

08Who it's for

You'll feel at home if…

  • You're a dev, creator or regen building web3 / web2 public goods.
  • You're technically fluent but not wealthy — and R$10k was never the plan.
  • You're Greenpill / Gitcoin-adjacent, in Brazil or anywhere on earth.
  • You want to build and belong — not spectate.

Maybe not for you if…

  • You're after a luxury crypto retreat with a spa and a stage.
  • You want to watch panels, not roll up your sleeves.
  • Sharing a kitchen, a shift or a tent field sounds like a downgrade.
  • You'd rather an enclave than a commons.
09Questions

Honest answers.

The base is real: EcoviLab, an ecovillage laboratory already running in Rocinha since 2021, with camping, a communal kitchen and a community that lives there year-round. Vila Semente runs there and at the nearby Rocinha mountain property, Oct 31 – Nov 9, 2026 — beds and camping across both sites, good for 50–60 people.
