Ten days, one village, in the Mantiqueira mountains between São Paulo and Rio. Fifty to sixty of us — testing new coordination protocols, local & regenerative economics, web3 — and yes, real breakthroughs in spirituality too.
Tickets on Artizen · sliding scale · camping tier from a nominal fee.
Not a conference agenda — a live test bench. Everything below gets tried in the open, for a month, by whoever shows up.
How do 50–100 people actually govern a month together? We test consent-based decisions, live sociocracy, reputation — whatever coordination really holds at this scale.
Time-banking, mutual credit, a village currency pegged to real contribution — tested alongside the R$ economy, not against it.
Quadratic funding and hypercerts aren't theory here — they're how the village's own commons pool gets allocated, in the open.
Public goods tooling, on-chain coordination, hackathons that ship — building the stack this whole culture keeps talking about.
Circles, ceremony, breathwork, silence. The inner work regen culture usually skips — because none of this holds without it.
This land has been a laboratory since 2021 — permaculture, bioconstruction, a small community learning to live differently. Now we're widening the circle: builders, regens and misfits gathering to prototype coordination, economics, web3 and spirituality — together, in the open, for a season.
Localized, sliding-scale pricing and a commons pool that funds scholarships. Cost is decided by what you can give, not what a market will bear.
We don't just occupy a space. We spend into the local economy, restore what we touch, and leave the village measurably better than we found it.
No over-scheduled corporate panels. Unconference style: deep work, open-source building, and fireside conversation. Minimal formalities, maximum freedom.
Since 2021, a small community has been living permaculture and bioconstruction on this land — camping, communal kitchen, gardens, ceremony, ordinary life. These are their own photos. The pop-up doesn't invent a village; it adds fifty more builders to a fire that's already lit.
Photos from EcoviLab's own community in Rocinha — shared with us to show what's really there.
Ten days proves the format works — before we build something that lasts.
Vila Semente: ten days at EcoviLab and the Rocinha mountain property. We test the rhythm, the coordination, the economics — in the open.
If Vila Semente proves the format, we build toward a standing Regen Village on this land — governance, funding and community, tested here first.
Instead of a monolithic conference hotel, Rocinha becomes a distributed village: one shared commons, a constellation of nearby beds, and a field of tents. That's how we kill the corporate price tag.
The beating heart: a real intentional community since 2021 — communal kitchen, gardens, hammocks, and a dedicated coworking space with reliable power and Starlink. Already running. Now hosting more of us.
Surrounding Airbnbs, guesthouses and farm rooms within walking distance — pre-mapped by us, booked directly by you. No middle-man margin.
The ultra-low-cost tier. Pitch a tent beside the commons and live close to the land — for builders with all the time and none of the budget.
An access ticket— sold on Artizen, with scholarship discounts from the commons pool — funds the shared commons: Starlink, power, coffee, local staff, and a dedicated coworking space. It rises with comfort: cheapest for a tent on the lawn, more for a shared bed, most for a private room. One price per tier for the whole 10-day window — stay 7 days or all 10, it's the same ticket.
Tent, tarp, sleeping pad, blanket & cushion — all included free. We own a small fleet as long-term village stock.
"We'll publish the real budget. No spin, no hiding — just honest numbers for a village built from scratch."
Fog rolling off the Mantiqueira. Cold plunge, a slow coffee, yoga on the grass before the laptops open.
The barn fills with builders and Starlink hums. Heads-down shipping, then a long shared lunch of local produce.
Self-organized sessions, pairing, a hack sprint — or a trail up toward Cunha when the mind needs the woods.
Cooking together, music, a fire against the mountain cold, and the kind of conversation that becomes a project by morning.
50–60 people buying from local producers, hiring local cooks, and restoring the land turns a pop-up into a public good for the region — not a tech-colony that flies in and out.
Spend flows to Rocinha's producers, cooks and hosts — not to an outside operator's margin.
What we build in the village — tools, guides, learnings — ships back to the commons for anyone to fork.
The commons pool funds places for builders who'd otherwise be priced out. Merit and energy over money.
The base is real: EcoviLab, an ecovillage laboratory already running in Rocinha since 2021, with camping, a communal kitchen and a community that lives there year-round. Vila Semente runs there and at the nearby Rocinha mountain property, Oct 31 – Nov 9, 2026 — beds and camping across both sites, good for 50–60 people.
Tell us who you are and what you'd bring. Tickets are handled on Artizen; this list is how we coordinate spots, camping, dates and scholarships with the community.
